Tom’s Creek Falls was ideal for this because it's an easy & mostly flat 0.7 miles out and back to the falls. This trail is located in Marion, NC and part of Pisgah National Forest.
We’ve hiked here many times before but of course it took lots of extra time today for little steps, stumbles, distractions and detours. She hiked about half of the distance to the falls and was carried for the other half. We spent some time at the waterfall and then carried her back.
