It’s because when it’s a public traded company, its main purpose is to make profits for its shareholders. The quality of the product aren’t its main function anymore. Also in most jurisdictions, of the listed examples, it’s actual required by law for a public traded company, to ensure best possible profit for its investors.
Plus the whole thing with corporate culture in those companies, and the kind of employees hired for them, and the way of thinking they bring. It’s completely different from those private companies.
Well that’s at least the ultra short and simplified version.
