That's $13,000. I'd buy 20 1/10oz gold eagles, $100 face value in silver dimes, $3,000 into the S&P 500 and then hold onto the last $1000 to see what happens.

I’d put it all into stocks. In fact, I’ll be taking a £10k chunk out of my premium bonds at some point and doing just this. It’ll go into global ETF - nice and simple. It’ll even earn me dividends.
