First thing Pete should say at his HoF cermony is "We should have ran the ball" that would be legendary and everyone would forgive him

“We could have ran two QB Sneaks” is the ultimate subliminal. That’s an intelligent ass diss that every one of his teammates knows exactly what he’s saying

Donte Hightower tripped up Marshawn with a blocker still on him. He really was an unsung hero in those later SBs. Had the big sack on falcons to knock them out of FG range. A bunch if really memorable plays where he came up super clutch when it mattered most.

It’s just a Seahawks thing. Blowing it in the most insane way possible. That one with Matt Hasselback “we want the ball and we’re gonna score” 😂

Everyone forgets what really set up that play.

After lynch ran to the 1 yard line, belichick SHOULD have taken a timeout.
He didn’t and it forced Carrol to call a pass, less he use his last timeout if lynch didn’t score on a run

Sneaky Pete wanted to throw a sneaky throw. He tried to give Russell Wilson the superbowl MVP and screwed up

Pete made the mistake of not giving his best player the ball twice with championships on the line. Giving Lendale White the ball over Reggie Bush on fourth down directly led to the Texas loss.

Pete is genuinely a great coach who always had his players ready to go, but his championships all came in blowouts. When the game was tight in those situations, he made massive coaching blunders. He tried to be too cute. It was a, "Haha they'll never expect this," mentality. Pete was trying so hard to be smart that he became dumb.

As wasted as I was, I will NEVER forget that moment. I'm thankful they didn't run, too.

Few things; 1) Lynch hadn't had a very successful rushing game at that point, 2) that play worked 6 times that season, 3) the Pats practiced the D of that play, and gave up a TD every time. It was only after practice they told Butler to play more aggressive off the line

From a coaching stand point, it was a good call. Someone just made a better play
