What does it mean to be Saved? God will saved you. From what? Why can't I save myself? What is it that God is saving me from?
Salvation is being saved from being punished for the sins you committed. God asks you to repent of your sins. That means to say and to feel sorry for what you did. That mean trying not to ever do it again. And if you do that... God will forgive you of that sin which means you will not be punished for doing it. Now that is what SALVATION is all about. NOT BEING PUNISHED FOR THE SINS YOU COMMITTED ALL BY YOURSELF.
