EA FC 24 skills and flair passes with Antony (Manchester United). In this video, you learn a cool method for scoring versus a rushing goalkeeper. For performing the sideflick pass (or a flair shot), it's helpful to do the Flair Nutmeg towards left or right.

Note: you can do the Flair Nutmeg (4 ⭐ skill) to either forward, left/right, or backwards. Here I choose to do it to left.

This move set ups you perfectly for doing this flair trick shot in EA FC 24 gameplay. Alternatively, you can do it from a crossed ball. You must patiently wait for the ⚽ to drop close to your player, then press 🎮 L2 + lob. To succeed with it, you must be positioned sideways towards your target. That is not always easy.

While it's of course easier in the practice arena, I've done it plenty of times in real matches as well. I included one example from one of my Ultimate Team (FUT) matches. To aim lob passes toward the goal, remember that you need manual Lob Pass Assistance controller setting.

You can also do it as a flair shot, with Left Trigger + Left Bumper + Finish. Although it seems to be much more harder to score it like this. Doing it as a pass, you get the benefits of passing playstyles - making it more powerful and harder to save. Certain players excel with it better than others. I like to use players that have flair and top tier passing stats.

In these examples you can see the timing of the shot from the power bar. And the gray arrow by the player will show how & when to move the left stick.
