Leading up to 2000, many said "guitar is dead" and rave music replaced it. Then the Strokes came along and brought guitar music back. I'm more into rave music myself so I was a bit upset .

One of my favorite bands.. I turned 21 when that album came out and my style was their style..seen them 2 months in Pittsburgh after the album came out.. little club called nicks fat city.. unbelievable.. and have never been back to Pittsburgh since😢
