I have another addition to that shortcut. When the phone is already held horizontally (when laying in bed) it wont toggle orientation lock!

One caveat to remember once you have this up and running: If you ever manually turn OFF orientation lock for some other reason, for instance a special case use in another app, and Forget to turn it back on when you exit the app, the automation will work in reverse.
So if you are on the home screen and your orientation has been turned manually off, then it will actually lock when you open YouTube.
It doesn't happen very often at all, but if you ever find that the automation is not working, then go to the home screen, turn ON orientation lock manually, and then you will be back to normal.

Really useful tip. Did it right away. I don’t like this for YouTube because hitting the full screen already puts it in landscape mode, even if the orientation is locked in portrait. If you have premium and run videos in the background it will mess this up. It’s only useful for me in safari because that’s when videos don’t orient to landscape automatically

But that only works as long as you don't change orientation lock manually, then it's reversed until you change it manually again.
