Core tackle has a new hook that works great for this with the weight incorporated

Core tackle makes a decent one as well. Glue helps.. I use small nail weights more than anything. I’m still learning as all of hasn’t been popular that long but it helps.. getting used to the bait takes some time but it helped me some at Cumberland this year

Great set up. Learned it a few months from Milliken. And if you super glue the nail weight in it last alot longer.

😢my set up is split shot on tag end of clinch knot 1 inch. Tie an overhand knot in tag end to keep shot on. Works

Only thing with this method is I hear it's like one bait & weight per fish, which gets pricey quick. I'm experimenting with attaching nail weights to hooks to create something similar to the Core Tackle jig, but for much cheaper.

Whats the soft plastic called? Seen someone put one on a divine spinnerbait that 6th sense makes and he caught a shit ton of bass on it but that looks like the same trailer just can't tell on that packaging what it's called

That core tackle hover rig hook is a game changer for this setup. No more lost nail weights or torn up baits , plus it flat out catches them.
