🌿Ingredients🌿
Activating the Yeast
Lukewarm water - 300 ml
Sugar – 1 Tbsp
Yeast – 2 Tsps
Dough
All-purpose Flour – 540g
Vegan Butter - 50g
Salt – 1 and half tsp
Garlic Cloves – 2 large
Yeast Water
Olive Oil - 1 tbsp
Dressing
Garlic Cloves – 15
Vegan Butter - 110g
Oil – 4 Tbsp
Parsley
Salt - 1 and half tsp
Oregano - 1 and half tsp
Vegan Cheese – 150g by @violife_foods
🌿Steps🌿
Activating the Yeast
👉🏾Add sugar to luke warm water and mix till it dissolves. Then add the dry yeast and let it rest & activate for 15 mins
Dressing
👉🏾To a bowl, add melted vegan butter, finely chopped garlic, oregano and mix herbs, finely chopped parsley, salt, olive oil & mix well
Preparing the Dough
👉🏾Add all purpose flour, salt, olive oil, garlic cloves, vegan butter & activated yeast water. Mix and knead till the dough turns soft.
👉🏾Add olive oil to a bowl and brush it across evenly, place the dough in the bowl. Cover it and let it rise for 1-2 hours
Making the Bread
👉🏾Once the dough is risen, take it out on a flatter surface and divide into smaller parts.
👉🏾Take individual parts, add the vegan cheese to it and wrap it into a smaller dough ball.
👉🏾Place the dough ball in the garlic butter dressing and then place it in the oven tray
👉🏾Add vegan cheese(optional) and cover and let it rise further for 1 hour
👉🏾Bake in a preheated for 35-40 minutes over 180 C
👉🏾Brush it with the garlic butter dressing(optional) and serve hot
