Here are some ways that can help you save LOADS OF TIME when studying and score exceedingly well for your examinations! These techniques have personally helped us and our students score 90 in the examinations :)

1. Retrieval Practice
Instead of focusing on ‘cramming’ information into your mind, spend your time testing yourself and trying to PULL information out of your mind. By constantly ‘retrieving’ information you’ve learnt in the short term, you’ll be able to learn more efficiently and remember things for a longer period of time. To get yourself started, try asking yourself these few questions before each practice: What did I learn during the last revision practice? What were some of the portions I struggled with?
.
2. Feynman Technique
While it sounds incredulous, the best way to learn is to try to teach what you want to learn to a 12-year-old child. Luckily for the ones who don’t have a 12-year-old at our disposal, this technique works even if you’re not ACTUALLY teaching another person. Simply imagine that you are, and try to explain the concept you wish to master to an imaginary audience who knows nothing about it. If you can explain it fluently and without any gaps, you’d be able to remember the information learnt for a longer period of time.
