Day 35 of one boating tip a day !

I’ve been slapped, smacked and thrown by not paying attention to my position or not focusing on what I’m doing, boating is always humbling me every time over and over again.
But I’ve learnt how to distribute my focus and become better with my boat safety awerness, if it’s windy and rough, no phones, no distractions, focus on the boat and crew.
As soon as one of the students put his head in a dangerous position I told him to move his head as this is dangerous.
In the beginning of my career I didn’t pay attention to all of this, you just can’t, you’re overwhelmed by everything, but keep in mind to be focus and think about what could potentially be dangerous and you will have LESS shitshows.
Sailing and the cruise life is a constant lesson, keep your senses sharp, learn from you mistakes, move on and improve.
