Please do not overtake on this story. The mountain itself is of course real, no man made project can be that wide and tall. It is only the peak for decorative purposes, was man made. And its been known by a lot of people.

There is nothing wrong with fake rock for decorative purposes but where it should be allowed is a concern and calling that point as the highest peak for that mountain is insult to the mountain which took centuries to build by nature.

I'm kinda confused. I mean, isn't that specific boulder just a decoration? I mean, it's never marketed/promoted as the natural boulder like the rock mountain underneath it?
I'm not even chinese, but that tourist spot is well known. and as far as i know, local people and even many other tourist knew it's a decoration = man made boulder = fake rock.
I just didn't understand where's the news 😅
