Born in 1782 in Genoa, Italy, Paganini was a child prodigy on the violin. His incredible technique and emotional performances stunned Europe. But rumors swirled that his talent came from a pact with the devil. With his gaunt appearance and supernatural skills, many believed Paganini was in league with dark forces. But, despite the rumors, his compositions remain some of the most challenging and influential pieces for violinists.
