I think it’s 50/50

Chinese people may well treat foreigners especially white people better than their own nationals but in my experience that’s not exactly saying much. Their concept of what passes for the norm in their society especially how poorly you can treat people has no parallel - that is outside other backwards racist Asian countries and probably most of Africa although I’ve never been there so I don’t know.
