In a typical day I will do the routine first thing then I will rest 15 or 20 minutes and then play a set of big band lead trumpet parts or the solo features from my show. I will usually rest another 15 or 20 minutes and play some easy lip slurs and go through all my major and chromatic scales nothing really above the stave nice and easy. Then near the end I usually play some more octave slurs from low C to double high c and some pedals at the end.
