This Is exactly how I figure out vocal harmonies. So much easier to find them like this first and check they sound good. I try to learn Alice in Chains vocal lines like this as well. Recommend to everybody.

We were doing this in 1971 in a band called Synergy with two guitarists playing leads that harmonized. I came up with the idea but I may not have been the first. Nobody else seemed to be doing it then.
