Our directors as a reminder have a story they tell us every year about how they can always hear what we say on the mics. It’s been four years now, but one time they were doing a musical and the two leads were missing during intermission and they couldn’t find them, but the person in the booth could hear them. The were making out back stage 😭😭

I feel like me being able to recognize this from the first note is s testament of how much being crew for legally blonde scarred me. Great musical, I had to move a house with people on it and then hide said house in under 20 seconds and there’s just too many people in that show. I remember being so shocked when they didn’t sound like this when I watched our archival recording.

As a techie is was absolutely hilarious to listen to people's mics during chorus (in highschool productions) some of the actors didn't even know the words and were just mumbling the melody 😅
