This is my story of how I woke up with cellulitis and a fist sized absess that had to be cut open and drained while I was AWAKE!! I also got a Rocephin IV which hurt SO badly going in! Now I'm on two oral antibiotics and trying to rest up as even typing with my right arm hurts.

After my reduction, my dr told me mild cellulitis but if I hadn't showered that night I would have died from sepsis bc the infection progressed SO fast! Two months post op too! I knew when I saw another abssess I needed to go to the ER ASAP! Just air touching my arm hurt SO badly. They took excellent care of me though and I am on the mend! Also Oura rings are so good- it detected my fever and that I was sick as well as when I'm emotionally depleted.
