I've learned the importance of putting up boundaries. Saying "no" helps them as well as you. Sometimes you have to allow folks to figure out things for themselves. It's one thing to feel empathy for others, it's another thing to allow people to "drown" you trying to flee their situations. We're called to be lighthouses...not lifeguards. 😢
