GULAB JAMUN CHEESECAKE
Biscuits - 120 gm
Melted Ghee - 50 gm
Cream Cheese - 33 gm
Condensed Milk - 210 gm
Fresh Cream - 100 gm
Cornflour - 1.5 tbsp (10 gm)
Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tsp
RECIPE -
- Start by blending the biscuits to get the perfect crumbly texture.
- To that add ghee and mix until you get a wet sand texture.
- Spread the mixture in a 7 inch springform baking pan and make sure its even on all sides.
- Keep it in the fridge for at least 20 mins or until completely set.
- In a separate bowl add cream cheese, condensed milk, fresh cream, cornflour, & cardamom powder.
- Whip it all up using a hand blender until smooth. Don't overmix it.
- Take out the set biscuit base from the fridge and place 7-8 gulab jamuns as shown in the video.
- Then pour your cream cheese filling on top.
- Cover the baking pan with a foil before putting it in the steamer.
- Then steam your cheesecake for 50-60 mins on low heat. You can open the foil after 50 mins to check if its set.
- If its too watery on top, then let it cook for another 10 mins.
- If you are baking it, then place in a preheated oven at 165ยฐC for 30-35 mins on a water bath, until the center is set.
- Now once the cheesecake is cooked keep it at room temperature for 30-40 mins.
- Then place it in the fridge and let it cool for 2-3 hours.
- After that decorate it up and enjoy this decadent GULAB JAMUN CREAM CHEESE CAKE.
