2024 was a year of transformation, revelation, and unshakable purpose. It wasn’t just a year—it was a movement. A movement to wake up, speak up, and rise up. Where The People Meet TV became a platform for the people to demand answers, celebrate progress, and confront the uncomfortable truths that hold us back. This wasn’t the time for silence; it was the time for courage—and you answered the call.
To the Peace Studio Fellowship, thank you for the opportunity to launch this vision. To every guest who graced our platform and shared your voice, information, and talent: Governor Pat Quinn, Alderperson Clare Kelly, Alderperson Eleanor Revelle, Reverend Eileen Wiviott of the Unitarian Church, Paula Danoff of the Evanston Art Center, Andy Vick of Downtown Evanston, Lea & Dustin of Art Encounter, Vernon Greene of Boys Hope Girls Hope Evanston, Housing Advocate Gail Schechter, music artist Donovan Mixon, comedian Steve Berger, songstress Nikki, Alecia Wartowski of Foundation 65, Lisa Degliantoni of Evanston Made, Village of Dolton Trustees Kiana Belcher and Brittany Norwood, students Phoenix, Ezra, and Eleanor from Chute Middle School, and Patti Capouch of Impact Behavioral Health—thank you.
To my co-hosts Sebastian Nalls and Mike "Wojo" Wojciechowski, and my videographer genius partner Don Lim, thank you for your hard work and dedication.
To our sponsors—Cupitol Coffee & Eatery, YoFresh Evanston, Evanston Community Bank & Trust, B21 Sauce, MSI Wellness, Mary Rosinsky, and Hagerty Consulting—thank you for your support, no matter where you stood on the political spectrum.
To the venues that welcomed us—Dave Davis of Northwestern University, Stephen Rogers of 2715 Hurd Avenue, American Legion Post 42, and the City of Evanston’s Fountain Square—thank you for allowing us to engage the community.
And to Fran Joy and Percy L. Berger Sr., your love and support continue to fuel me.
Where The People Meet TV was born to wake people up. From exposing systemic issues to celebrating local brilliance, every discussion, episode, and recording carried a purpose: to uplift, inform, and ignite action.
2024 wasn’t just about sharing voices; it was about making bold statements. I spoke truth to power about leadership and the ways some systems are designed to exploit rather than serve. Power changes people, and leadership reveals character. We’ve seen this in our local government, but we also see the power of people coming together to demand transparency, accountability, and progress.
2024 also brought challenges, like Kamala Harris’s loss and Trump’s win, signaling more battles ahead. But change doesn’t start in Washington—it starts here, in cities like Evanston, in our neighborhoods and local boards/councils. Together, we can make that change.
Looking ahead, join us on Sunday, February 9th, from 4 PM to 7 PM at 2715 Hurd Avenue for our Candidate Q&A Forum. This is your opportunity to meet the candidates shaping Evanston’s future, ask your questions, or simply listen and learn. The forum will feature panelists from The Evanston RoundTable, The Daily Northwestern, and Where The People Meet TV, ensuring a diverse and wide range of perspectives.
Confirmed candidates include:
Mayoral Candidates: Mayor Daniel Biss, Jeff Bournini
1st Ward: Alderperson Clare Kelly

We’re here to equip residents with the confidence and knowledge to make informed decisions in the voting booth in 2025.
To my God: thank You for Your love, Your grace, Your guidance, and Your protection. You have carried me through the battles, and I trust You to guide me through what’s next.
Warrior reporting for duty, 2025.
