What do you think? A retraction? I definitely should have waited for the video to be released before making my original video.

The video editing is amazing.
That bow at the end, though, left me in tears. I couldn't literally move. It was like they all said to us "this is it, there'll be no more"
Glad I can rewind their story back from the beginning as an old book, as I did millions of times in the last 50 years.

By the way, your channel is amazing.
Thank you for your beatiful contents, for your trips, for the memories and the superimposings as well.

Yes, the tape was left in an envelope marked "For Paul" - "Think of me now and then, old friend" were also John's last words to Paul. So fitting and beautiful. "Now and Then" touches my soul, which so rarely happens on this level. Great update too!

Same here. I dismissed the entire notion, but watched the video. It’s a delicate thing to go mucking about with one’s memories.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Cutting edge video. Very moving as well.

The video is a joy, isn't it? And it really enhances the song. The Beatles have been an integral part of my 68 years, and watching has been a poignant experience.

I agree, the video adds a whole different dimension. Very moving and touching. Brilliantly done. A mixture of the Beatles humour with the emotion of seeing them together and the subtext of loss.

Seems like many of us are eating our words after the video viewing. It's so full of love and fun. Everything together is stunning. I've found I can't get the song out of my head. Got very emotional watching the video.
Let's hope they've still got a few bits for the fans. The early albums in the boxsets. Star Club album maybe. And maybe even Mark Lewisohn's biography parts 2 and 3

I totally agree with you, Tudor! The video also changed my opinion of the song because, instead of possibly being a song about his relationship with Yoko, John was singing to his mates, probably Paul in particular. Cheers!

Yes, I agree, as with Free As A Bird, which had a very moving video, the Now and Then video makes the song. The end, when they bow and fade out leaving ‘The Beatles’ in lights, which in turn fades out was very moving. It really does feel like a closing of a chapter.

Hey Tudor , I watched your video and I too dislike the artwork ( no thing against the artist) but I love the song very much, it’s a farewell song ain’t it? I m glad you change your mind, it’s really great the clip with the song along ! It’s really the end too, that s the Beatles saying goodbye! 😊

Paul did say that John said to him think of me now and then, When I first heard the original I knew straightaway it was about Paul and The Beatles I I understand the song and video it’s Beatiful written peter Jackson and Giles Martin both got it spot on

I will admit that the video helped the song resonate with me, but I felt some of the footage was out of place for this type of arrangement. In particular, the footage of John with the acoustic guitar was very strange looking with him flailing about in front of the orchestra – he looked like a hyperactive muppet. It's also unfortunate that Ringo and Paul weren't able to film there performances together.
