This guy should be the gold standard for CEOs

He’s DEFINITELY an example to all other CEO’s who care only about profits and disregard their employees.

Those that think this is a socialistic move are incorrect. This is still a capitalist move BUT it does go against the toxic industrialist mindset.

Wait, so if you pay people a living wage, it makes it easier to... live?!

When people forgot that human originally compassion and sympathy toward each other. Those who think he is trash just because they don't understand what humanity is since they have none!

How is what he did socialism at all? This is a brilliant business move because any CEO should know the employees are the heart and soul of your business. Angry and bitter employees lead to terrible performance and happy ones lead to, well, this outcome. I respect it and if more companies followed this idea they would be even more successful than they already are.

Wow, who would have thought that when you pay people what they're worth, they'll actually work harder and make your company better?

He's not really socialist, he's simply investing more into his business which is pretty smart

Imagine what happens when you actually have invested employees. You can see it in other places as well, like between Walmart and Costco. It's okay to pay employees decent rates.

Wow!? It's as IF big CEOs and Board Members stop lining their pockets the company and employees can thrive? Who would've thought 🤔

This is a guy that values his workers and knows he doesn't have a company without them. I'm curious to know if other bosses have done this or at a bare minimum spent a year or two living off the same wages as their lowest earning employees.

Just goes to show what paying your employees $33 per hour can achieve (40 hour week/52 weeks) Good on Dan

Socialist? The government had no influence on this decision. He willingly dropped his own salary and took care of his employees. That’s not socialist, it’s just not greed.

So making $70,000 a year does not qualify you to buy a home right? If only 10% of his employees can buy a house, I don't think he's paying his employees and enough.

Whats wrong about socialistic moves?? Like the real questions are Whats good about greed? Whats good about making your workers suffer?
