The only way I can retire is to leave Canada and move to Nicaragua. You are correct on the issues you sited but not all the issues were mentioned. I will lose my home when it comes up for renewal. I will sell it first rather than lose it to the bank.

My wife and I visit and love the country and people of Costa Rica. Sarah- watched/listened to you for a while… You are so wise! This advice goes for any “big change of living.” E.G. How close do you want to be with your partner/spouse with smaller living conditions, more extremes in weather, slower life style, bugs and just plain isolation. For my wife and I… we’ll just keep being VISITORS of CR, CR friends and jungle critters… Thanks Sarah,💚✌🏼
