That is NOT an invisible zipper. It is a standard zipper. It's a good way to sew in a standard zipper but an invisible zipper is sewn very close to the fabric seam allowance and not stitched right through the shell of the fabric. This is so no stitches can be seen and the xipper zips up to appear exactly like a seam. Wrong terminology for this video.

I was taught that 2 things are required for an invisible zipper to be invisible: Using an invisible zipper, and then sewing that zipper to the seam allowance, so the stitches don't show on the outside. The procedure in this video is how I sew a regular zipper.
