Red-Eyes Alternative Black Dragon was printed with a line of text mentioning "Red-Eyes Black Dragon". But at the time of its release, Red-Eyes Black Dragon had its name shortened to Red-Eyes B. Dragon, meaning it didn't have a proper target for this effect until Red-Eyes got reprinted with the proper full name.

The german localization team of Konami is pretty incompetent it seems. Another infamous example of butched translation is "Anteater eating ant" which became "Ant eating anteater"

People seems have a misconception about "Archetype Support". Support is not always about good cards, it's about cards that support some monster or archetype whether cards that support the search of said monster, support the summon, etc. And yes, REBD has a lot of support, approximately 40 different cards if I'm not mistaken

Hundred Eyes Dragon had the opposite problem - as printed originally, it worked with Red-Eyes support when it wasn't supposed to. The original name was printed as 'Hundred-Eyes Dragon', unintentionally making it a 'red-Eyes' card.
