I did a hangar shuffle to get them both. Tac is going to be my new daily driver once it's out. I'm not getting rid of my Valkyrie, but I have a feeling I'm going to be using it nearly as often as the SL Tac.

To me it seems like less of a drop ship and more of a mini mobile ground assault base. With it's 2 med beds, tanky shields and ability to carry a ground vehicle and Fury, it would be a great ship to assault a small to medium player owned base.

For me tac is a forward base/heavy dropship. I just wish it had atleast tier 2 medical bed.

I agree that the ship is more of a Valkyrie alternative than a threat to the Redeemer that some on Spectrum have been screaming about. The S5 turrets cant go forward and are positioned to shoot at ground targets or broadside attacks. They will have less coverage than the Redeemers turrets, so they cant be used to aid in forward firepower and can even only assist the top turrets if the attacker is doing a broadside attack. Imo Valkyrie owners should be far more upset than Redeemer owners, as the Tac looks to be a better dropship than the Valk is, with its built in fighter support and med bay.

Don't waste your money; the ship is broken, and the landing gear doesn't work. It will take years before CIG addresses the issue with the ship, as that seems to be their usual approach.
