This lifetime tribute to actor, musician and artist Johnny Depp starts with a scene from Cry-Baby where he sings the song King Cry Baby. (lip sings) It continues into movie scenes ( not exact order ) from Blow, the Black Betty Scene in the airport, Minamata, Platoon, Pirates of The Caribbean as Captain Jack Sparrow, Finding Neverland, Willy Wonka, Tonto in Lone Ranger & Arizona Dream. A Dark Shadows Barnaby Collins's quote "They Tried Stoning Me My Dear, It Did Not Work" is a little joke I put in too for Johnny's win in the trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard. It then continues with the song from the John Waters film Cry-baby & shows Johnny hugging his lawyers after listening to closing arguments. It also shows some tour footage of Johnny & best friend & guitarist Jeff Beck, who passed away in 2023.
Some scenes used from San Sebastián Film Festival & Hollywood Authentic (for Johnny & Jeff tour footage) The tribute ends with scenes from Benny & Joon, Black Mass, The Brave & Jeanne Du Barry which headlined Cannes Film Festival 2023. Jeanne Du Barry received a 7 minute standing ovation after its premiere. The end of the video shows Johnny with cast & friend Al Pacino & Ricardo Scamarcio who were filming the upcoming 2nd directing debut of Johnny's for his movie called Modi.
