In this project, I used a NodeMCU and a NEO-6M GPS module to build an emergency button that sends my live location to a Telegram chat whenever I press it. This way, I can quickly and easily alert my emergency contacts of my location in case of an emergency.
The setup is simple and requires minimal coding. I connected the NEO-6M module to the NodeMCU and used a push button to trigger the emergency alert. Then, I used Telegram's API to send my live location to a chat as a message.
This project is a great example of how DIY solutions can be used to improve safety and security in everyday life. I'm excited to keep exploring the possibilities of NodeMCU and other technologies in my making journey.
