Always have been, and will always been a fan of Butcher of Malakar. It even combos with Eldest Reborn making everyone sac more creatures on the Sac effect.
Illicit Masquerade is another amazing enchantment. Dirt cheap. It has flash and on ETB it puts on an imposter counter on all your creatures. Basically, when a board wipe happens all creatures go to the graveyard, and the creatures with imposter counters trigger Masquerade. You get to choose which creatures bring back what, so by picking your more important creatures first you can then exile the creature you need least to bring back the creature you're picking before, and then each other creature is brought back as long as it's the one you picked exactly before the one you're attempting to exile. It's not a terribly pricey card either.

Nameless Inversion - for less than $0.50 and 2 mana you get instant speed removal of small creatures or a potentially game-ending combat trick on the surface.
In EDH though you can cast it into two other players combat to turn many chump blocks into trades.
The real sauce is when it's played in and against typal decks, triggering "whenever you cast a [Type] spell" abilities (unless it specifies Creature Spell), being able to be tutored by type-specific tutors, counting as your decks type theme in the yard (hello zombie decks!), and turning off the targets bonuses from Lords and other typal support effects and potentially ruining those dang Elfball players whole plan.

Iâve always been surprised that Songs of the Damned isnât used more often in self-mill and sacrifice decks. I rarely see the thing but it can produce backbreaking amounts of mana. But maybe itâs that itâs not very useful in the early game?
