As a trumpet player who likes to scream during marching shows and be the one to volunteer to play all the upper split stuff, these things can honestly mess with my rehearsal if I have those screaming bits, and it hurts me as a player, but honestly its habits I developed that wont go away 😭

Here is a cool fact I never knew (I’m a saxophone learner) but when you hold the trumpet don’t put your top hand pinky in the holder thingy! Only when you put it down you should hold it by there, the reason is so your fingers don’t need to be such in a weird position, so for beginniners playing trumpet they should have their pinky on top of the holder thingy! Hope this helped!
