I remember people freaking out over ice cream that "doesn't melt" and I was immediately reminded of Turkish Ice cream. Also Philippine Dirty Ice cream/sorbetes also has starch from cassava or corn to prevent it from melting too fast.

Btw, west icecream taste like cream that iced. You can taste the ice. Dondurma is a different type of desert. I wouldn't even classify it with the icecream.

Us Americans have soft serve ice cream made with cows milk. Turks use highly concentrated goats milk for their ice cream and I hear is the best on earth.
