We also had that in our 2016 Audi S8 a few years back. It actually does make sense. The heated seats only seem to get warm, and then the âcooledâ seats is more of a ventilation thing going on. At least in the Audi, it provided warmth as well as ventilation. Quite nice.

That's not cooled seating, that's ventilated seating, which basically is just a fan. If you want the heater to also blow warm air, you can.

I've never thought about simultaneously heated and cooled seats until this video came out.

I have this in my Audi! Not sure it was meant for this but itâs actually really convenient after a long day. Heated seat/backrest helps a sore back, while ventilation helps keep you from getting too hot/sweaty.

Most Hyundais and Kias technically have this, the heated seats put a heating coil by the blower motor, so using only heating is the equivalent of using both heating and cooling in other cars.
