Remember way back when we saw the Sonic and Detective Pikachu movies and thought we were getting some sort of Video Game Cinematic Universe? Well, consdiering how the Super Mario Bros movie is animated, allowing for them to do crazier things. AND the fact that nintendo bought what is at least for the purposes of this, a film and animation studio, getting more than just the Super Mario Bros movie isn't out of the question. ESPECIALLY if it does well, there were rumors of a DK spin off in the works already. After Endgame a lot of critisism for the MCU is that is now lacks focus or a purpose. Meaning that if Nintendo can set up a shared universe that results in them replacing the MCU as the main cinematic universe i'm sure they'll do it. An end credits scene can really set anything upLuigi's Mansion, it could be a quick clip of Navi, the master sword, a green hat. Setting up a Legend of Zelda movie or series. It could be a starfox teaser since they had that in the works already. This movie doesn't have to set up another mario movie if they don't want it to. Smash Bros movies could be their Avengers. a Mario Party movie could be the Civil War. They could even do a damn squidgame parody and we wouldn't bat an eye. There is so much they could do, it would be a dumb idea to miss the chance. Which is Why I think The Nintendo Cinematic Universe Is Coming

If a Super smash Bros movie actually happens one day, I will definitely be going to see it. I don't care if I'm 30 years old, I'm still going.
I'm curious to see how they will handle the smash Ball item, or even just some of the other characters in general. there's definitely a lot of potential for a story driven smash Bros movie. They could do something like they did back in Brawl where you make Taboo the main antagonist, and even use the concept of spirits from smash ultimate, by saying something like:
Taboo wants to recreate the world in his own image, so he uses his army of Master Hands/Crazy Hands to help him still the souls of other characters (spirits) and then goes after The more popular characters like Mario, Pikachu, ect

bruh, imagine every movie is about nintendo's video games or characters like, metal gear, metroid, animal crossing, pokémon, etc. And all these movies would eventually lead up to a potential Super Smash Bros movie

An ocarina of time/majoras mask movie would be incredible. I love how depressing the stories are. Also I would love a twilight princess movie because that is my favourite Zelda game ever.
