Bobby Caldwell was a smooth jazz legend who left behind a legacy of beautiful music. His songs were filled with soul, passion, and love, and they touched the hearts of millions of people around the world.

Caldwell was born in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1951. He began playing music at a young age, and by the time he was in his teens, he was performing regularly in clubs around Memphis. In 1974, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music.

Caldwell's first album, "What You Won't Do for Love," was released in 1978. The album was a huge success, spawning the hit singles "What You Won't Do for Love" and "I Wanna Be With You." The album helped to establish Caldwell as a leading figure in the smooth jazz genre.
