one major problem I have with these challenges that people do, they eat the items out of context. like 1000 year old eggs, you dont eat them straight up. I love them and I would never eat them straight up. they are used to flavour the food it's in like congee. its just like how you would rarely ever eat an onion or garlic straight up. same with stinky tofu. you can eat it straight up as is, but most of the time you have it with a sauce and cabbage.

Iâve never had the smell thing with durian as in I wasnât able to smell what others smelled as stinky but I personally love eating durian cus itâs sweet and creamy and if you freeze it chill it in the summer itâs like icecream sort of

I'm not chinese, but i'm 99% certain century egg is supposed to be cut up into little pieces and used to flavor a big bowl of congee (bland rice porridge) you wouldn't eatt an entire bottle of pepper, but that's the best analogy I can think of for eating a whole century egg and then complaining about it

I love durian! The sort of Vanilla taste it has really melts in my mouth, even though it stinks horribly!

These food are so common in my country. I myself have never tried durian, just because it smells bad to me, but my dad likes it. He thinks it smells nice. I donât understand how his nose works.

I always love watching foreigners eat durian, it's always so entertaining. Also i absolutely love durian, my family will have a durian feast when it's in season
