the two ways i used to use expression pedals was as a sort of preset swap for the Meris Hedra. i also used the expression functionality on the Earthquaker Afterneath to do jumps of 5ths or Octaves in the reverb trail, i would also make the reverb go into self oscilation and use the expression pedal to play it like a very limited synth
