I do like the type 1 proof better. The type 2 Eagle I am still getting used to. Not a big fan of the clipped wing and the defeated look. I've got to pull out an Eisenhower dollar. Someone told me that the eagle is the same landing eagle. Is it? I don't know if I have an Ike with the eagle on it to compare.

I love proofs . Thats it. I forbid the US mint from making any regular Type 2 Eagles. I absolutely forbid them. Just please make all coins all proofs. It's more exciting, it's more beautiful. I feel I am not just holding silver, but I am holding a work of art. I believe your entire life should be a work of Renaissance and Baroque art each and every day.

I never understood the purpose of proofs, cameos, etc. I know they're limited mintage but that's not what I'm referring to. I'm old fashioned and very simple man. Give me the original coin and I'll be happy. I'd rather they spend time and money on completely new "limited mintage" coin designs instead of just dressing up plain old ASEs. Feels like a cop out.

Yeah I've been disappointed with silver being lackluster. Except for the Type 2 ASE. No new outrageous and exciting silver products coming out! The 2021 Morgan's are boring. The US putting the same rubbish on coins. Why can't we have something of the caliber of the 2021 Silver Britannia. That coin design was exciting, refreshing.
