My cousin has dealt with paranoid schizophrenia for 30 or so years. He always talks about doing evil things, but he usually checks himself in the hospital before he gets too bad. I can't imagine what this poor child went through without any medication or therapy š Psychosis is not a joke it's a living hell

He has paranoid schizophrenia. This is a tragedy. He's not evil. He loved his mom and his brother. He had a psychotic break. We better start understanding mental illness or this type of thing will continue to happen. I was attacked by a family member with paranoid schizophrenia. One of the most kind and generous people I know attacked me. He didn't know what he was doing. The the pain he felt when he was diagnosed and then properly medicated hurt me too because he's my family. He was not in his right mind, he was not in control. A broken brain is a terrifying and confusing thing, not just for those on the outside. I don't think this kid should be free, but he's not an evil villain. This is unbelievably heart breaking tragedy.
