Morlais Castle - above the quarry and beside the golf course. You could have strolled to the cellar from the golf course car park!
The bridge is the old railway viaduct on the line from Merthyr to Brecon. Used to take the kids abseiling off it.

Antediluvian cathedral partially buried, and the parts above ground destroyed/washed away. Probably now used by the local covens for late night shenanigans.

Bridge looks like an aquaduct and the internal structure looks like old, in ground reservoirs we used to have around here.

Morlais castle crypt. When the Medieval era ended, one of the Welsh kings decides to remove the top structures. No remaining rooms exist as of today.

Maybe thatโ€™s the ceiling of the church and thereโ€™s 100 feet of flood mud underneath you.

It looks like something built no later than the Middle Ages. The suggestions said so far could be anyone of them. Only is that in this remote area. They put together a well built and designed structure.

It looks like an ancient Gothic vault basemnent of an abbey or a monastery in ruins.

That is the basement of a castle!
Castle basements are known as dungeons!๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
You know its the basement because the vaulted ceiling is actually the support structure for what was once above and it was large and very hea
