Single humbucker, always sounds amazing and it's less to worry about when something isn't going right with my setup; If it's the pickup causing a problem, big whoop, can replace it with stellar ease. I am a rhythm guitarist primarily and it's pretty much all I need. Also, amazing guitars :D

I tend to go HH, but two of my favorite guitars have unique setups.
One has a Mini-HB in the neck and standard HB in the bridge, and the other guitar has a single HB in the bridge that can coil tap to be a Single coil. Both of those are two of my best sounding guitars out of like the 20 that I own.

HSS or SSS. If you get a stacked single coil for the bridge you can cover every style. HH has it's place for a very specific sound but HSS and SSS are the best to me after years of playing, building and tinkering with guitars.

Btw I have a set of Ultra Violets as well and they’re killer!

Mine is a single humbucker, but on the neck, preferably a floating one and on an Archtop. This apparently helps the guitar retain its acoustic character while being amplified. Gives a more jazzy/ bluesy tone.
