Interesting fact: It is said by Polish chronicler that the Polish king was saved by a young nobleman named Zbigniew Oleśnicki, when the Teutons attacked his posiotion. But because he did it unchivarlously he wrecked his creer as a kinght but he still had king's favour for saving his life. Eventually he bacame a priest, then a bishop and skilled diplomat. He had big influence in Poland during the reign of Jagiełło's son - Władysław III - and forged a union between Poland and Hungary which eventually led to the Crusade of Varna. Later he became ultimetly a first Polish cardinal, and still had strong position during the reign of king Casimir IV. From his inheritance he founded a boarding school for the students of University of Cracow.

Lituanian light cavalry maneuver reminds me something nomadic. Seems like Khanzada Jelaleddin, son of late Tokhtamysh khan, advised this maneuver. Practically lituanian cavalry had substantial number of Tatars in their contingent, which earlier left The Horde after the defeat of Tokhtamysh to Yedige and Tamerlan. In this battle they just pinned down the enemy drawing the enemy into battle and retreated. When all the enemy reserves were depleted they returned and decided the outcome of the battle
