Modern saddleback tortoises are already characterized by having very long necks and a saddleback-shaped shell to allow them to reach up higher to eat tall plants such as cacti. It is likely that in the near future these types of large tortoises will progress this evolutionary trend further, evolving even longer necks, legs and more developed shells.

This isnt true, larger tortoises burrow, and they find plenty of plants on the ground to eat, the longer legs would also come more as a bad thing because burrowing requires them to be as close to the ground as possible. If your saying theyre going evolove to fit a niche that does eat from trees and lose the burrowing behavior, only the galapagos tortoise has that "potential". I dont know where the idea that things are even able to get bigger right now, things are actually getting smaller, especially with reptiles. Food isnt plentiful for this to be reality. Cool thought tho

Honestly no offense, but is this AI? I'm really just making sure just in case, no offense if you actually made it.
