This is such an intrusive question. Like dude, don’t ask me about my genitalia within the first five minutes of meeting me.

The fact that it’s normalized to ask trans people (minors and adults alike) about their private parts is insane to me. Usually, if someone asks you something like that, we teach them that they’re supposed to, like, tell a trusted adult and never talk to them again.

This is like someone pointing out my boobs as a "great feature" or something they find attractive, and also saying how they "like my hips" as well.
And I'm like thank you....for pointing out the stuff that makes me feel creeped out and you know, dysphoric

Edit: I'm trans masc for context
Edit2: edited my comment phrasing but said the same thing adding a comma etc
Edit3: if you see a guy telling/ arguing with me in the comments, ignore him, he's constantly just trying to turn comments onto the commenter , you know who you are, it's wild someone talks so negative on a Trans guys youtube comments when someone speaks of their negative experiences when it comes to creeps and tries to guide the narrative even though they weren't there to know what happened -_-

I hate how obsessed some transphobes are with what’s down there. Especially the ones that call trans people groomers without proof, they need to learn what the difference between someone trying to be happy and someone trying to harm children is. Also they need to remember that there are cis people that are groomers, so they should also be calling every single cis person one as well.

I told someone I was transmale and they said “but you still have boobs?”

"You're trans? Have you have surgery?"

Yeah, I actually got my wisdom teeth removed a few months ago. Thanks for asking :D

And it's always the same people who would be mortally offended if you asked them a question half as personal

This is so bonkers to me. Two of my three adult children are trans, and I don't even ask intrusive questions! In fact, my transmasc, enby firstborn has shared (well researched!) healthcare information before I could ask. I'm vague and respectful when asking my daughter about planning her medical care. It's really not difficult to be respectful! 🏳️‍⚧

Like dude why tf does it matter what MY genitalia is??
Like why you wanna know what’s in my pants so bad? Take me on a date first geez✋🙄
Also, just because I identify as something does not mean that I HAVE TO change my body for it! Identity≠sex assigned at birth.
Plus many can’t afford those surgeries even with insurance in America (which unfortunately most companies typically don’t cover because of political views and such🥲

I would ask back something about the other's person genitalia to see if they notice how invasive that line of questioning is (like what color, or shape idk). If they don't find it offensive than maybe they're just not bothered by those sort of subjects 🤷🏻‍

Bro once when i was talking to some classmate about the fact that im non-binary he straight up asked
"So, uhh, do you still have a 🐱?"
LIKE SIR HUH?? I had to explain that my gender identity and my lovely rabbit hole were not connected

I know it's not the point of this video, but I appreciate that you felt comfortable talking about your own medical transitions, Jamie. It helped me when my boyfriend was talking with me about what he may or may not be wanting for himself.

As a person who's probably a little too comfortable hitting on people as a joke, even I follow the rule of "Keep my hands to myself, and my words out of people's pants" cause after all, those two things are none of my buisiness

Reminds me of that one video where this one guy just randomly asked a trans woman about that kind of stuff. It was some government thing (IDK the context). They forget trans people are people. And they view gender as private parts, so when you say you're trans that's all they think about
