Good points, and in traditional training (in Japan) a lot of times advanced classes could not be watched. I agree and usually start with feet and how they enter, look then how the first attack is dealt with including distance and timing, then the technique. Along with that how are they using omote and ura and adjusting movement for space and different directions. Great discussion
