Dr.Liz, you deserve to have as many down days as you want. People unless the have had cancer don’t realize how much it takes out of us. I’ve admired your strength from my first video with back in 2023. As a breast cancer survivor I honor you for my strength. Take care, love from the USA♥️🌸🌸

Dr Liz, I love watching your videos. No matter if it's encouraging or discouraging, your honesty resonates with me. I was recently diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. It's in my spine and other bones, in my lungs and something is happening in my liver but we're not sure yet. Your realism and truth really boost my morale. I am not as good as you when it comes to anything related to exercise.
I am learning to manage my expectations now that the secondary cancers are making themselves known. I have had radiation in my spine and next week I'll start targeted therapy. It's so encouraging to hear you telling it like it is. It makes us feel better about being human!!

It's great to see that you're being kind to yourself, Liz. We often don't listen to our bodies unless we are forced to. Does anyone else create a wish list each day instead of a 'to-do list' with realistic, achievable goals? Indulge in the things that uplift and make us happy because we are worth it!

So well said. When we don’t feel strong sometimes it just doesn’t help to force ourselves to do all the healthy things we know we should be doing. And we shouldn’t feel ashamed or guilty about this. We need PEACE and space to heal at our own pace. There will be time enough later to jump back on track. And of course you never should compare yourself to anyone else. Not even YOURSELF! I’m happy to see that you realize all this and are letting yourself off the hook. Enjoy your gentle day. Sending you all my best wishes, as always.

Your words are important to me. Maybe because when I was diagnosed, this summer, and did the first search on YouTube, it gave me you. I binged watch lots of your videos. Your channel is a secret friend that gives me confort. I don't say to anyone that I watch videos about cancer. It's not "wise"...for me it's so important! You give me such strengt. I imagine you walking there alone with your dog and taking a minute to talk a bit to your viewers and here I am in Lisbon watching! We are far away but somehow I feel not so isolated in this desease.that amazes me and I feel better. And a knitter...you are a knitter...thats like we being both from gryffindor or something like that😊...thank you so so much

Thank you for telling. Nobody say it loud. And I`m 80 and often have it like you describe and feel SO ashamed and dare not tell how it goes for me now. It comforted me SO much, you talking about it.

You may not like yourself some days. I just need to to know, I like you and appreciate you, and what you are doing. I am a cancer surviver, and you make me feel good, not feeling good. Blessings

Liz, you need to take things easy. We all need to realise that when we need time to take it, life with cancer is hard so just be easy on yourself ❤

Thank you. Sometimes, I feel alone. I have good support, but I don't think they fully understand. This video made me feel ok. Thank you❤ You're right. Tomorrow is another day. Take care.

I appreciate your support and your honesty. My exercise has slipped since the weather has become colder. I know I need to get back to it, but i also need to not beat myself up regarding it. Thank you for that reminder.

Dr. Liz
I went through a horrible depression after my treatment and honestly the only thing that helped me was moving into a new house as a way of leaving the awful chemo memories behind
