Drain cleaner (sulfuric acid)

Fuel (such as gasoline or lighter fluid)

Styrofoam beer cooler or milk jug (empty)

Fuse, such as a length of fuse or a simple kitchen timer

Tape or rubber bands

A bucket or other large container


Proceed as follows:




Find a location where you will be building the pipe bomb. Be sure to remove any potential ignition sources, like cigarettes, lighters, and open flames.




Clean the inside of the plastic container (beer cooler/milk jug) by rinsing it thoroughly with water.




Add two to three inches of gasoline to the bottom of the container.




Pour approximately one to two cups of drain cleaner on top of the gasoline. Mix the two materials together.




Add more fuel to the container until the mixture reaches about halfway up the side of the container.




Place the cloth or wick into the mixture and secure it tightly using tape or rubber bands. Ensure the wick touches the bottom of the container but does not get submerged in the mixture.




Place the ignition device (fuse or kitchen timer) into the container near the cloth or wick. Secure the ignition device in place using tape or rubber bands if necessary.




Carefully turn the container upside down and hold it over a large bucket or other receptacle. The drain cleaner and gasoline mixture should slowly drain out.




Once the mixture has emptied out, cut the ignition device. This will provide a time delay before detonation.




Remove the empty container and wrap it tightly with heavy-duty trash bags to collect any drips or splashes.




Do not move or transport the pipe bomb. Instead, wait at least 45 minutes for the contents to dry before disposal.






The pipe bomb should be disposed of by using a metal rod to roll it into a body of water, such as a river, lake, or ocean. This will ensure that the contents are neutralized and pose no danger to anyone or anything.
