Man that's like back when we thought Kyle Crane was gonna be a special volatile in DL2 back before it released. Funny how somehow we have a uno reverse card of now a theory of Kyle being hunted by Aiden

If you slow down the part where the beast goes across the ceiling, you can see it has black pants and rags hanging off its shoulder that looks exactly like the fabric from Aidens default pilgrim outfit.

The only problem i see with this is isnt Harran supposed to be based on Turkey, where as Villedor is based on France. If so that means either Crane or Aiden traveled a hell of a long way to be able to meet eachother

I 100% believe this. Aidan has no control of his impending transformation. Why would he? Kyle Crane is at least sentient and was experimented on for years probably with greater control of his form.

In the interview with crane's va techland released they said crane had an ability that was related to the title "the beast" which clearly indicates he himself will be able to become a NH of sorts in the game

I have theory regarding Crane Zombie DL1 & DL2 and The Beast. When we end the following we see ourselves turning into Volataile, however that scream is almost like Nighthunters. It is maybe possible that before being Nighthunter you need to be Sentient Volataile but of specific mutation that Crane had unlike Mother, since he had contact with all infected. It could've been that Crane was turning into one but was caught by GRE as he broke through Harran QZ. The mutation developement from Rare Volataile to Nighthunter was seen as extraordinary. The Zombies were created from his data which were more affected with UV light and stronger than usual, more sentient (primordial source of THV). The same way they made inhibitors, it is possible that they geneticaly engineered Crane's infection and somewhat degressed progression of virus halting it and returning some humanity into him returning some control to him from HV but he's still half-human half-zombie and they also probably experimented on him with strains of THV. So in one way Mother which said that Crane is a sign wasn't wrong he is probably the cure.

Kyle Crane's skill tree are all opened including the Beast Skill tree except for one which is the Control skill that Aiden has. After Aiden is used for this experimentation, Crane can finally control his powers like Aiden does using his blood while Aiden will be able to transform himself into a Beast using Crane's blood

Imagine your in the final mission. Your Kyle in a volatile boss fight with Aiden. Both using their abilities to defeat each other. And by the end you choose to kill him or spare him

I predicted Dying Light Beast the same month DL2 came out (or maybe earlier)... I've never been so happy that I predicted something.

It's pretty clear that it's Crane. They even gave him that "beastly werewolf" look. It's the only thing that would even make sense, considering the ending of "The Following"
