Andre is being humble and I say this because I loved that Pistons team

However, the 2017 Kevin Durant Warriors was among the greatest teams to ever play in the NBA. Bar none.

The only other team that I will put as a true rival to that 2017 Golden State team would be the 1972 Los Angeles Lakers.

The KD Warriors were better than the 1998 Chicago Bulls. They were better than the 2001 Los Angeles Lakers and they were better than the rip Hamilton/Rashid Wallace Detroit Pistons.

The KD Warriors were better than any of the Showtime Laker teams or the Boston Celtics teams.

The Kevin Durant Warriors were better than any team you can find from any error ultimately.

I would literally say that all the teams I mentioned are indeed worthy opponents because only an all-time team can be mentioned seriously against the Kevin Durant Warriors. This is in no way disrespecting any of the other great teams in history. The 1972 LA Lakers were my favorite team of all time and that’s the only team that I could see , having players that literally those warriors had no answer for.

However, the Warriors literally had asses for every other player. Take for instance, the 98 Chicago Bulls: although all of the attention goes to Michael Jordan, those teams dominated because they had an excellent overall team as well as a coaching scheme. They beat teams because of their total package. The Kevin Durant warriors nullifies every advantage that team has. Kevin Durant is unstoppable that season. Draymond Green could nullify Dennis Rodman, and there would be likely fights going on. The Warriors could throw waves of people to make Michael Jordan work and make Scottie Pippen shrink a bit. Could expose those 98 balls, lack of any serious big man.

Unlike the era of the 98 bowls, you’ve got too much star power all the way around for the refs to gravitate toward the biggest star, nullify that advantage for the Bulls.
